An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Saturday, repeating until Sat, June 29th, 2019
Qigong (Chi Kung) is a centuries old mind-body-spirit system of practices that can help guide us back into balance and well-being. Based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qigong uses movement, breathing techniques, visualization, and self-massage to renew and replenish aspects of mind, body, and spirit which feel depleted or out of balance. In this class series you will learn simple, yet effective, tools to restore your balance, and improve your sense of well-being. Qigong can be practiced by anyone, regardless of age, state of health, or belief system. No special equipment or clothing is required.
This class will focus on forms and movements developed by Roger Jahnke, including Healer Within practices and 9 Phases of Qi Cultivation and Mastery.
All levels welcome. Movements can be modified to suit individual needs.
