Ann has been exploring traditional Chinese medicine and Qigong since 2003 after feeling the “qi” from energy meridian work through acupuncture treatments. Ann is a professional member of the National Qigong Association and has studied with numerous masters and teachers including Master Li Jun Feng, Daisy Lee, Francesco Garripoli, Ken Cohen, and Peaceable Dragon’s founder Paul Rischard. Her work in the community includes serving as a Mind-Body-Medicine facilitator in the Mind-Body Medicine Program at Georgetown University Medical Center where she introduced Qigong into their training program. She also spent several years teaching residents, staff, and caregivers at an assisted living center; students in local community centers; and she has introduced Qigong at various community events in the DC metro area. As part of her graduate studies, she recently completed a yearlong clinical internship at a trauma-informed integrative wellness center in Washington DC where she provided individual counseling and qigong, in addition to small group instruction. After decades of study and meaningful experiences in the healing arts, she has been led to provide spiritual direction and energy work. The mind-body-spirit connection through the integration of eastern and western healing modalities continues to be a calling. In her private practice with locations in Old Town or Washington, DC, Ann focuses on qigong, spiritual wellness, the healing arts, and creative solutions in life’s transitions for those of any age, and any stage!
