Qigong (pronounced chee-gung) is an ancient Chinese practice that combines movement, breath, and meditation to reduce stress, improve health, emotional balance, and encourage a sense of well-being. Participants will learn a simple qigong form along with qigong warmups, stretches, suggestions for practice, and information on various aspects of qigong. Join Pauline as she guides you through easy movements to release, relax and revitalize. Movements can be modified to suit individual needs.
This class is being offered through the Fairfax County Public Library and has 4 sessions. Separate registration is required for each session. A Zoom invitation will be sent a few days before each session’s scheduled date. Adults and Older Adults. [No class November 2nd, election day.]
