Lisa is grateful to have had the benefit of taiji (Yang style, Cheng Man-Ch’ing variation) instruction, mentoring, and guidance from John Allen, Brian Wallich, and Paul Rischard. Lisa has also enjoyed further explorations in the internal arts through a variety of taiji and qigong workshops with Daisy Lee, Master Yang Yang, and Master Li Jun Feng. With a background in athletics, Lisa finds taiji’s “stillness in motion” and “motion in stillness” to be concepts that resonate for her, and she is thankful for the moments of connectedness, grace, harmony, and inner and outer balance that practice of the form continues to teach her. She completed Peaceable Dragon Taijiquan Instructor training under the guidance of Peaceable Dragon founder Paul Rischard, and is authorized to teach by Peaceable Dragon.
