The National Qigong Association describes Qigong as “a mind-body-spirit practice that improves one’s mental and physical health by integrating posture, movement, breathing technique, self-massage, sound, and focused intent.” Each class in this four week series will explore different movement and breath practices and ideas about Qigong, with a focus on stress reduction and relaxation.
These classes are being offered FREE by the Oakton Branch of the Fairfax County Public Library. Each of the four classes is a ‘stand alone’ class with its own focus. You can register for as many as you like. Registration is required for each individual class. Registration is through the Fairfax County Public Library website. Look under Events.
