This class is a chance to learn the simple yet powerfully effective set of 24 Postures and to practice the form in the context of a healing community. The benefits of these Therapeutic Qigong exercises stem from the head-to-toe attention it directs to every major joint, muscle, ligament and meridian in the body. This form strengthens the whole body and supports optimization of normal bodily functions as well as being a way to reduce stress and tension. It has been used effectively to help with a wide variety of medical ailments and supports rehabilitation of chronic illness. It is also used to treat neck, shoulder, back, hip, knee and foot pain.
