Paras Kaul

Paras began her studies and practice of the internal arts in 1982 at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and continued to study Tai Chi Yang style; 2-person forms; push hands, and Taiji Broadsword in Vancouver, BC. In 1989 she studied Standing Qigong and Push Hands with Sifu Fong Ha in Berkeley. Later in Santa Monica, CA, she studied with Dr. Baolin Wu from the White Cloud Monastery and learned Chang San Feng, a customized sequence of Yang style Tai Chi, as well as 9 Palaces Qigong; Five Centers Facing Heaven Qigong and Tai Chi Broadsword. When introduced to Peaceable Dragon, Paras began a long-term study of the Cheng Man-Ching variation of Yang style Tai Chi with Kris Brinker. During that time, she also studied a Taiji Longsword sequence with Brian Wallich. Additionally, Paras studied Awakening the Soul Qigong with Master Li Jun Feng, and is now instructor certified for this Qigong.

After recognizing the transformative benefit of the 14 movements of Organ Cleansing Qigong—designed to activate and energize major organs of the body—Paras became an Organ Cleansing Qigong instructor with Peaceable Dragon and wishes to share with individuals who are seriously interested in transforming their own well-being. A colleague and student of Francesco Garripoli, they share a research interest in brain-computer-interface technologies (BCI). For several years, Paras has organized the Healing Garden for World Tai Chi and Qigong Day. As a member of the National Qigong Association, she presented a workshop for the 2013 NQA Annual Conference where she introduced a Brain-Computer-Interface. She has also served as a board member for Peaceable Dragon.
