Julia’s introduction to the internal arts began when she took her first yoga class in 1996, and her passion deepened when she trained with the Center for Mind-Body Medicine. She includes qigong movements and various forms of meditation into her yoga classes. The classes she teaches include a sense of play. Julia is a mediator and enjoys incorporating mind-body techniques with conflict management and stress management. She has had many wonderful teachers including her horse, Dahnaan, who had been abused. He taught her to remember to exhale with a smile.
